Consumer Reports Ranks St. Francis the Top Hospital in the NYC Metro Area for Patient Safety

St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® has been ranked the safest hospital in the New York metropolitan region by Consumer Reports. The Hospital was ranked #1 out of 81 medical institutions in the area for patient safety and also ranked well above the national average in a hospital safety.

The top ranking is the latest in a series of national and local honors for the Hospital. St. Francis has been rated by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top hospitals in the nation for heart and heart surgery, geriatrics, and neurology and neurosurgery. It also has been ranked the best hospital on Long Island by U.S. News and seventh among New York Metro area hospitals.
