Capital Campaign
We are in the midst of a $190 million Master Facilities Plan – the largest expansion in St. Francis Hospital’s history. Led by members of our Board of Trustees and friends of the Hospital, we have embarked on a capital campaign to help fund the project with a goal of $70 million.
The Plan
The Master Facilities Plan was designed to help us overcome challenges related to overcrowding and to accommodate the latest technology for less-invasive approaches to diagnosis and treatment. Highlights of the project include:
- A major new building with 150,000 square feet of new clinical space (a 40 percent increase)
- An increase in licensed bed capacity from 279 to 356
- New, non-cardiac operating suites, increasing from 7 to 14
- Expanded cardiac catheterization lab facilities, from 5 to 7 labs, with adjacent reception, staging, and recovery rooms
- An expanded emergency department
- A new underground parking garage
Architectural naming opportunities are available for gifts at all levels. Additional details on the Master Facilities Plan and The Campaign for St. Francis Hospital are featured in our Case Statement.
