Emergency Medicine
Welcome from the Director
|
As Director of the Emergency Department, I am proud to lead a group of professionals who are completely dedicated to providing the best medical care available in New York. We not only treat people well, we care for them like they are family. In fact, our Emergency Department is the place other physicians and nurses choose to come to if they or their loved ones require emergency care.

The Emergency Department will be completely renovated over the next two years providing individual rooms with the latest enhancements to ensure patient safety and hygiene. By January of 2007 a state of the art 64 slice CT scanner will be in place in our department to help in the rapid diagnosis of cardiac and other diseases.
Our Magnet Award-winning nursing staff is renowned for their compassion and sensitivity to patients’ needs. The board certified physicians collaborate with the hospital medical staff to offer first rate care to every patient.
