St. Francis Hospital’s DeMatteis Center Wins National Top Performer Award for the Third Time

Roslyn, NY - St. Francis Hospital’s DeMatteis Center for Research and Education has once again been named a Summit Award Winner by Press Ganey Associates, Inc. The prestigious annual healthcare award recognizes top performing facilities that sustain the highest level of patient satisfaction scores of 95 percent or higher for three or more consecutive years. The Center, which is located in Greenvale, was one of the nation’s 98 organizations to receive this highly regarded recognition in 2011, and the only outpatient facility in New York State to be honored.

Press Ganey currently partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities- including 50% of all U.S. hospitals- to measure and improve the quality of their care. The company’s databases are the largest in the industry, and allow facilities nationwide to benchmark their results against peer organizations.

The DeMatteis Center of St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center is an outpatient facility located approximately four miles east of the main campus of the Hospital. The Center is the home to Cardiac Research and Education, cutting edge technology for Cardiac Imaging including Cardiac CT Scanning, The Women’s Center, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Services, a Congestive Heart Failure Program, a Diabetes Care Center, Conference Management and many other community programs.
