St. Francis Hospital Appoints Patricia E. Daye Vice President of Ambulatory Services

Roslyn, NY, May 9, 2011 - St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is pleased to announce that Patricia E. Daye has been named its new Vice President of Ambulatory Services. Daye will be responsible for overseeing the operations of physician practices as they join the Hospital. She will also supervise St. Francis satellite facilities including the DeMatteis Center for Cardiac Research and Education in Greenvale, South Bay Cardiovascular in West Islip, and the soon-to-be opened Bishop McHugh Health Center in Hicksville.

“Patricia is a highly regarded executive with extensive experience in health care management,” says Ruth Hennessey, EVP and Chief Administrative Officer. “She will be a vital member of the St. Francis team, helping us to extend our standard of excellence in care to all of our offsite facilities.”

Daye was most recently the Executive Director for the Center of Advanced Medicine at the North Shore-LIJ Health System before joining St. Francis. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Administration for the Women’s Health Program and Assistant Executive Director of Administration for the system.

The Dix Hills resident began her career at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, where her last position was Assistant Executive Director. She then joined the Riverside Healthcare System and held the positions of Vice President of Operations for St. John’s Riverside Hospital and Executive Vice President & COO for St. John’s Riverside and Yonkers General Hospital.

Daye has a B.A. in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College and earned her Masters Degree in Health Administration from Duke University. She is a Fellow (FACHE) of the American College of Health Care Executives.
