Roslyn, NY - St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is proud to announce that it will be honoring Robert Kissane, President and CEO of Community Counselling Service (CCS), one of the nation’s largest fundraising consulting and management companies, at its Annual Gala. The black-tie event, to be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at RXR Plaza in Uniondale, is designed to recognize those who have helped significantly advance the Hospital’s goals.

“Robert Kissane and his family have been longtime friends and generous benefactors of the Hospital,” says Alan D. Guerci, M.D., President and CEO. “Their ongoing support of our capital campaign has helped make it a great success, despite tough economic times. We are delighted to recognize Bob for all of his efforts as this year’s honoree.”

Kissane’s company, CCS, has been a consultant to St. Francis since the early 1970s and has advised the Hospital on its most recent capital campaign for the DeMatteis Pavilion. His late wife, Lucille Paolillo Kissane, served as Vice President for Development at the Hospital, and their son, Evan, serves as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and is currently stationed at the Kirkuk Air Base in Iraq.

“Recognition from St. Francis Hospital, a world class medical institution, is a great honor,” says Kissane. “My family and company truly believe in the hospital’s goals and mission to provide excellence in both cardiac and non-cardiac care.”

The Gala is the most significant annual fundraiser for St. Francis Hospital, offering participants an opportunity to celebrate the success of the Hospital, surrounded by family and friends. This year’s theme is “Hooray for Hollywood.” For more details and to receive information on how you can participate, please call (516) 705-6659.
