Modern Healthcare Magazine Names St. Francis Hospital One of the Best Places to Work in the U.S.

Roslyn, NY- St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® has been recognized as one of the nation’s best places to work in healthcare by Modern Healthcare, the leading industry magazine. The magazine will reveal the ranked order of the select group of 100 organizations in a special supplement to be published on Oct. 26. This year's recipients also will be honored at a banquet in Chicago on October 27. Winners will be recognized by industry segment (provider, payer and vendor) as well as the number of employees.

The survey collected information from both employers and employees and was open to companies with at least 25 employees. Employers were asked to give details on company policies, practices, benefits and demographics. Employees were given an in-depth set of questions in core areas including culture and communications, working environment, training and development, pay and benefits, and overall satisfaction.
