Volunteer
Volunteering at St. Francis is a wonderful way to give back to a Hospital that may have helped you or a loved one, and to apply your special talents while making a positive impact on the community. Volunteer groups include:
Hospital Volunteers
Adults and teens (fourteen and older) give of their time and their talents to further the mission of St. Francis Hospital and help its patients and staff. They assist in transporting patients, delivering flowers, distributing menus and newspapers, and in many other important support functions.

Brave Hearts
The Brave Hearts of St. Francis are a group of the Hospital’s former open-heart surgery patients who offer support and assistance to current heart patients. Brave Hearts visit with patients to deliver membership certificates and lend an experienced view of recovery. They also staff a telephone support line for recently discharged patients. Members of the group publish a monthly newsletter, coordinate several day trips throughout the year, and support one another in their post-operative experiences.
