U.S. News 2011-12: St. Francis Has More Top Doctors for Cardiac Care than Any Other Hospital on Long Island

Roslyn, New York – U.S. News & World Report has released its first ever Top Doctors rankings and St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® has the most physicians recommended for cardiac care on Long Island. Eighteen St. Francis heart doctors made the prestigious list and three of them were rated among the top one percent in the nation.

The rankings were created in collaboration with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the publisher of America’s Top Doctors and other widely respected consumer health guides. All of the Top Doctors on the list have been recommended by other physicians for their clinical skills and each has been individually vetted by a physician-led research team.

The free searchable directory is available at www.usnews.com/top-doctors and lists nearly 30,000 peer-nominated physicians across the country. Consumers can search for a Top Doctor, by location, hospital affiliation, and a full range of specialties and subspecialties
